A New Reign

Hamlet is gone. My friend is dead, but with him the king, the queen, laertes. It was a scene that deserved to be written in Homer's epics. In the court of Denmark a great duel was waged between laertes and hamlet. The victor did not walk away, as hamlet fell to the floor due to underhanded posion by the king. The show closed with lord fortinbras sweeping into the palace, cliaming it his own. I pleaded with him to allow me to retell the story of hamlet, to explain how this misery had occured. He agreed and I will be announcing to the kingdom the tale of Hamlet and his strike at revenge. I am the lone survivor, allowed to tell a tale for the ages. a new day has dawned, the age of hamlet is dead.

2 Sailors, 1 letter, 1 Hamlet

I apologize for any messy writing. I am walking and writing as I travel across the grounds to meet Hamlet. I've just received a message from two north sea sailors. They were giving me a message from Hamlet. A message that read that he was on his way back to Denmark because he had been hijacked by pirates. Odd. The two sailors also had letters addressed to the King by his son in law. I am excitied to see what Hamlet has to present me, and to hear his story of how he is back here. How strange and wild this day has become. It started with a soggy bowl of corn flakes and has turned into an adventure for Hamlet.

Will keep you posted

The Fair Ophelia

Singing, it has always been a blessing of the cherubs. Sadly it can be intertwined with maddness and pity. Following the murder of her father Ophelia went mad, insane with grief. She sang to herself in lyrical nonsense. Sometimes she sang quiet as a mouse, other times she sang with the roar of a lion. The king and queen were worried about her. They kept good keep of her in her state of anguish until... until she was found face down in a pond outside the castle. Although there were no witnesses at the moment it was pronounced an apparent suicide. Ophelia's grief for her father turned into the courts and especially Laertes's grief for her. Poor Hamlet was shipped off to England without giving any final goodebyes to Ophelia. The atmosphere of the entire castle has changed. Solemn grief blankets the crown of Denmark.

Banished

Hamlet has been cast away from his native Denmark, off to the island of England. The king decreed it and enforced this move that hamlet and i have discussed before. Hamlet expected it willingly, no doubt scheming about how to get at Claudius. He was escorted out by Rosencratz and Guildenstern. I would be willingly to bet this isn't the last we've heard of Hamlet. There is no telling what my buddy has up his sleve. Although since he has already tried the route of caution, I would be willing to be that he will have some violence in him.

Hamlet, in the queens room, with a dagger

Oh what a terrible yelp leaped out of the Queen's quarters as i walked by. I was naturaly afraid so i cracked open the door and saw Lord Polonius lying dormant on the floor with a pool of blood descending from him. Standing over him was my chum Hamlet and his mother. As quietly as i had entered i left. the event shoke me. now hamlet has gone to murder and his mother the assistant? Surprisingly this hasnt changed my trust in him. Polonius isn't exactly Saint John so his loss is sad but not that sad. we shall see how these events unfold, many things remain to be seen

Never a precedent

After returning to my studies after the eventful play i began to do a little research. I inquired into my library to see of any mention of a tale like the events here. A murdered king coming back as a ghost, a tale of revenge for principle, a tale of emotion. Ah, there ought to be something akin to his in the epics of Athens or in dust covered scrolls of the old testament. But for not. I could not find any mention of any tale that had aspects of the life of Hamlets. Thank the stars for the dewy decimal system, or i would have been there forever and lets be honest. It was friday night, and i have a life. Maybe one day I should write these events in a book of my own, what a tale that would be.

And he stood!

Gat Sooks! Hamlet was spot on in his prediction of the Kings reaction to the play. At the most climatic time Cladius summoned a look that no actor could hide. The plate of guilt before was more than he could bite off. He stood up in an effort to retire back to his suite but the gesture went noticed by the court and before you knew if the play was called off and the King back in his quarters. Great news it was to tell Hamlet, i do enjoy the seldom moments of joy in him. Just after Hamlet shoed away Guildenstern and Rosencrantz he told me of his new plans. If theres one thing i've learned that has not been in a book it is to trust Hamlets gut. So i will follow Hamlets new requests, whatever they may be, in the name of his stomach
